The Train in Spain Stays Mainly in the Plain

Okay, the train in Spain does not say in the plain, but the phrase was too irresistible when I thought of writing a post about train travel in Spain.  We used a train to travel between Barcelona and Montserrat (it’s only a 30 mile journey) and it was very efficient.  We traveled from Barcelona to Valencia by train and it was easy and fun.

We traveled by train from Valencia to Madrid.  The train topped out at about 300 km/hr which is about 186 mph.

Along the way we enjoyed the scenery which surprisingly did not wiz by as quickly as we expected.

The trains in Spain are easy to use, quiet, clean, and an overall pleasurable experience.

The trains ran on time and were fairly priced.  It was also nice that they were not crowded.
